Nutrition and Cellulite

Since there are many different known causes of cellulite, it’s not possible to assume that there is a guaranteed procedure how to get rid of the problem. Unfortunately, there is not a truly miraculous way. In practice, however, the only proven, effective and relatively long-term option is fair and comprehensive observance of a special program.

First, there should be a total change in eating habits. Forget the white bread, fat meat and dairy products with higher-fat mayonnaise, foods high on salt, any sweets, reduce alcohol intake (other than the recommended amounts of red wine) and certainly reduce smoking (nicotine and other substances in cigarette smoke impair metabolism).

Your diet should include more fresh vegetables and fruits, fish and whole grains.

One of the most important things we should follow is a regular and proper fluid intake – the best is pure water and herbal teas (fluid intake is highly individual, on average, an adult person should drink a minimum of 2-3 liters a day).

For dietary supplements, select:

  • omega-3 fatty acids – 500mg at least 3 times a day
  • L-Carnitine – 1000mg per day regularly
  • mixture of antioxidants
  • vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, etc.
  • extracts of some plants – such as Ginkgo biloba, grape pips
  • for faster removal of toxic substances, try to detox with bark extracts containing YUCCA

In the fight against cellulite, movement is very important. Optimal is the combination of aerobic and anaerobic activity, ie. aerobics, games, cycling plus gym etc. Massages are also important – whether classical or lymph (often associated with wraps and electrostimulation). With a massage, pay attention to the subcutaneous bruising, varicose veins or venious trombosis.

Often used, relatively cheap and convenient method is to use various creams for cellulite – in combination with the above methods they can be really effective, just don’t buy and cheap products, they are usually ineffective.

Fighting cellulite is a long process, however in compliance with the procedures described here, you can not only improve your appearance, but your health too.
